The Darian Household is the Ducal Household of Dux Darius Corvinus, and is based in the early sixth century of Britain. Darius and his family and household have an estate near Glevum, where they try to keep the best qualities and ideals of the Roman era alive in the face of the onrushing dark ages. He, his Lady and his vassals try to forge a truce between that which is Roman in origin and that which is British. Photographer unknown The Household is part of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating pre-17th-century European history. Locally, we are part of the Principality of Tir Righ within the Kingdom of An Tir. We also participate in another medieval recreation group, the Empire of Medieval Pursuits (EMP).
